Pulsar Axion XM30S Thermal Monocular

The Pulsar Axion XM30S Thermal Monocular

Because thermal imaging devices such as the Axion XM30S detect heat signatures, no artificial light source is needed to identify objects. Artificial light sources, even IR illuminators, may give away your location and spook game. Hunters aren’t the only ones to take advantage of the features thermal offers. Law enforcement, first responders, firefighters, search and rescue, as well as the military all find thermal imaging to be a life-saving and tactical tool in the field.

For clear, uninterrupted viewing in any terrain or weather condition, the Axion XM30S includes multiple color modes and three viewing modes—high contrast for upland areas with rocks, soil and mountains, low-contrast mode for vegetation and identification mode, a universal mode. Adjustable brightness and contrast allow images to remain crisp and clear despite adverse weather conditions like rain, fog or snow. Onboard video recording and camera on the Axion XM30S is smartphone-compatible with the free Stream Vision app, which allows you to stream pictures and video, download and share files, update firmware and more. The budget-friendly KEY model does not offer Wi-Fi, video or pictures, yet still retains every other specification and feature of the other two models.

Alongside its ergonomics, the Axion XM30S was designed to be as user-friendly as possible. There are even integrated automatic calibration and pixel repair functions. Constructed of one of the world’s strongest, but lightest structural metals—magnesium alloy—the Axion XM30S’s durability proves itself in the most extreme conditions, operating flawlessly from -13 to 104 Fahrenheit. It is also submersible in 3 feet of water up to 30 minutes.

To enhance functionality and user experience, the Axion XM30S incorporates an instant-on feature. This quick start-up helps conserve precious battery life, but if you must switch batteries in the field, the Axion XM30S’s mini B-pack battery packs are easily accessible for quick battery changes. B-packs are rechargeable with the included charging station or USB (non-KEY models only.)
