CZ Bren 2 MS

The CZ Bren 2 MS is the next generation of the Bren platform, arriving in the US as a pistol with a clean sheet design focused on weight reduction and improved controls. A trimmed aluminum receiver and carbon fiber reinforced polymer lower result in a robust yet substantially lighter firearm. The non reciprocating charging handle stays forward until needed, is side swappable, and doubles as a forward assist.

Ambidextrous AR style bolt catch and release systems are mirrored on both sides, with an additional catch in the front of the trigger guard. The magazine release and safety are also ambidextrous and placed in familiar AR locations. Chambered in 7.62x39, this model uses factory magazines to ensure last round hold open and consistent feeding. The modular forend and barrel system allow future swaps of length or chambering.

This pistol configuration features a 14.17 inch cold hammer forged barrel threaded 5/8-24, folding adjustable sights, and a flush rear plate ready for an AR style buffer tube or brace. Overall length is 25.8 inches with a weight of 5.86 pounds. It ships with two magazines and is well suited for range use, training, or defensive applications where a compact and controllable platform is desired.
