It features a 7.65mm Luger chambering and a 4.75-inch barrel with a dorsal fin-shaped front sight and a fixed V-notch rear sight. The pistol has a checkered walnut grip with a slotted left grip for the grip safety, and the magazine has a wood base.

This variant can be distinguished from other Lugers by four features: flat, checkered toggle knobs, a US Eagle inscription above the chamber, a grip safety, and a polished lower position on the thumb safety. The toggle, receiver, and frame are the late, short type, and the thumb safety lever is serrated.
